Requirements

12-14 years of software engineering experience; at least 3 years in blockchain development
Proficiency in smart contract development (Solidity, Rust) and auditing
Deep understanding of blockchain consensus mechanisms, cryptography, tokenomics, and transaction lifecycle
Experience designing and implementing scalable blockchain-based systems for tokenization, smart wallets, and integration with DeFi protocols (primarily public blockchains like Ethereum, Solana and private DLTs)
Knowledge of cloud-native architecture (AWS) and containerization (Docker, EKS)
Strong leadership skills to lead a team of blockchain engineers, smart contract developers, and full stack engineers
Committed and inspirational leader capable of developing associates and leaders
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills to influence decisions across all levels
Proven ability to collaborate across teams, peers, and leadership to align with technology objectives, KPIs, and standards
Ability to proactively share knowledge and nurture a learning culture
Ability to fulfill HR duties such as developing performance plans, setting goals, and providing constructive feedback
Willingness to work with globally distributed teams, including across time zones and travel

Responsibilities

Lead a cross-functional team of full stack engineers and collaborate with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders
Define the product and technology roadmap aligned to business strategy
Foster a vibrant environment of growth, development, and continuous improvement for software engineering practices
Actively seek feedback and maintain strong partnerships with leadership across business, product, and technology
Influence decisions to improve delivery capabilities and realize business outcomes
Contribute to the delivery of functional capabilities to meet business goals for digital asset-based products
Establish and promote engineering excellence through compliance to coding standards, security protocols, and quality practices
Contribute to the definition of blockchain architecture and system design aligned with business goals and IT blueprint
Champion a culture of innovation and research to remain at the forefront of blockchain technology and thought leadership
Lead the development of smart contracts, interoperability between blockchain components, and integration with traditional financial systems
Effectively manage delivery timelines for product roadmap along with stakeholder communication
