Requirements
The Director of Data Platform & Governance should possess significant experience in data engineering, data governance, and business intelligence infrastructure, with a focus on establishing centralized data governance, driving BI platform ownership, and building scalable data infrastructure. Strong experience with data engineering, platforms, and integration processes is required, as well as experience in overseeing data availability, performance, and security.
Responsibilities
This role involves establishing and enforcing a centralized data dictionary and metric ownership model, creating data access permissions and compliance controls, formalizing data ownership across teams, owning BI tool end-to-end including dashboarding strategy and governance, standardizing dashboard design, empowering analyst teams with self-service tools, overseeing data engineering and platforms, ensuring data lineage and ownership, supporting decentralized Insights delivery, serving as a connected foundation for Insights, Product, and Finance teams, extending best practices to other analytics functions, and collaborating closely with the Insights team to understand analytical requirements and deliver appropriate data products.
