Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, and ideally have 1-3 years of experience in software development. Strong programming skills in various software languages or tools are required, along with the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues. Familiarity with software product engineering practices and experience with unit and integration testing are also necessary.
The Development Engineer I will design, code, and debug software applications, develop software solutions by studying user needs and system flows, perform unit testing and integration testing, maintain and improve existing codebases, and participate in code reviews. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, document code and technical specifications, research new technologies, manage tasks and deadlines, ensure software security and compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
