Requirements

  • MSc Civil Engineer, preferably with specialization in Foundations and Structures. One of the positions must have a specialization in marine works
  • 15+ years of experience in design management or technical office roles in large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of quantity take-off processes, measurement rules, and valuation methodologies
  • Experience analyzing IFC documentation and maintaining a traceable record of changes and design updates
  • Solid understanding of FIDIC or similar contract frameworks related to claims and variations
  • Skilled in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and preferably in BIM tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks) or cost management systems
  • High attention to detail, critical thinking, and excellent technical documentation skills
  • Prior experience in joint ventures or international projects is an advantage
  • Willingness to be based full-time in a remote location under rotation or long-term assignment

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the technical office team (design coordination, quantities, drawings, BIM/CAD, documentation)
  • Analyze IFC (Issued for Construction) documentation and track all design updates and changes
  • Calculate and validate quantities based on project-specific criteria and actual site conditions
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all technical changes and non-conformities that could lead to claims or contractual impacts
  • Support the project team in preparing technical justifications for variations and claims to be presented to the Engineer
  • Interface with design consultants, construction teams, and JV partners to ensure alignment of technical solutions with construction execution
  • Monitor the compliance of the design and documentation with local standards and project specifications
