Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must have active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
- Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline (four (4) years of additional DB experience can be used in lieu of degree)
- At least ten (10) years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator
- Experience administering and engineering solutions with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle databases (10 – current)
- Extensive experience with database design
- Experience with the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation, and tuning
Responsibilities
- Designs and implements individual components of Oracle products based on area of expertise
- Analyzes detailed requirements and develops detailed design for a specific Oracle product or technology
- Provides implementation services for a specific product, including extensions and additional configurations necessary to implement customer unique business processes and workflows
- Performs routine health checks and optimizations of system performance, availability, access controls, and security
- Performs system optimization, performance tuning, and assists in capacity planning
- Performs proactive analysis of potential issues, risks, and roadblocks during system implementation and operations
