Requirements

Must be a US Citizen
Must have active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph
Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline (four (4) years of additional DB experience can be used in lieu of degree)
At least ten (10) years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator
Experience administering and engineering solutions with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle databases (10 – current)
Extensive experience with database design
Experience with the collection and interpretation of customer requirements relevant to database migration, troubleshooting, performance observation, and tuning

Responsibilities

Designs and implements individual components of Oracle products based on area of expertise
Analyzes detailed requirements and develops detailed design for a specific Oracle product or technology
Provides implementation services for a specific product, including extensions and additional configurations necessary to implement customer unique business processes and workflows
Performs routine health checks and optimizations of system performance, availability, access controls, and security
Performs system optimization, performance tuning, and assists in capacity planning
Performs proactive analysis of potential issues, risks, and roadblocks during system implementation and operations
