Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, along with a minimum of three years of experience, and an advanced degree such as an MS or Ph.D. in a relevant field. Expert-level proficiency in SQL, including experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Looker, is required, as well as advanced Python programming skills utilizing data science libraries like numpy, pandas, matplotlib, and scikit-learn. A strong foundation in statistics and mathematical principles is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Data Scientist will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their goals and develop data-driven strategies, designing data modeling processes, creating algorithms and predictive models, and analyzing data to increase business productivity and efficiency. They will research, design, and implement machine learning algorithms to solve complex problems, communicate complex concepts through data visualizations, and establish and implement DataOps and MLOps best practices. Furthermore, the role involves quantifying and communicating business impact through data-driven insights, identifying and leading high-impact data science initiatives, and building and maintaining stakeholder relationships across all organizational levels.
