Requirements

  • Minimum 7.5 years of overall experience (minimum 5 years in Spring Boot)
  • 15 years full-time education
  • Proficiency in Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices (Must Have)
  • Good knowledge of Java 8/11+
  • Familiarity with Maven/Gradle build tools
  • Understanding of API gateways, load balancers, and caching mechanisms
  • Experience with application monitoring/logging tools (Splunk, ELK, AppDynamics, New Relic, Grafana, Prometheus)
  • Familiar with incident management tools (ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy)
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, GitLab CI)
  • Basic knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP
  • Good understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
  • Good to have: MuleSoft exposure, experience with data warehousing solutions, strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles, experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker

Responsibilities

  • Expected to be an SME. Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents within defined SLAs
  • Monitor alerts, logs, and dashboards for Spring Boot microservices
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and provide permanent fix recommendations
  • Handle service requests (config changes, deployments, access issues)
  • Support CI/CD deployments in lower and production environments
  • Validate post-deployment health and rollback if required
  • Ensure application availability and performance through proactive monitoring
  • Work with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, AppDynamics, or New Relic
