Requirements

Satisfactory BPSS and SC security clearance, typically requiring 5 years continuous UK address history with no periods of 30 consecutive days or more outside the UK
Familiarity with major cloud technologies and practical experience with at least one platform such as Azure or AWS
Collaborative approach and willingness to work with others to achieve common goals
Awareness of information security standards and good practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST)
Understanding of how security management systems are designed and operated
Experience supporting threat and vulnerability management activities
Ability to review and assess security controls to understand their effectiveness in reducing risk

Responsibilities

Support the delivery of assurance activities

Apply assurance principles across different goals, including legislation, regulations, standards, and frameworks
Identify real-world security risks and support stakeholders in understanding and managing them effectively
Take a practical, hands-on approach to assurance and control evaluation
Build experience in operational assurance within a business context
Broaden understanding of cybersecurity domains such as security management, architecture, engineering, and operations
Contribute to service delivery and project work, with opportunities to gain experience in Agile and DevOps environments
