Candidates must be an Undergraduate Student currently enrolled in a 4-year university in Atlanta with a minimum of 2 years remaining until graduation, be able to manage their own hours and be accountable for assigned work, possess a passion for music and an understanding of how peers discover and consume music, have an understanding of social media marketing and an active presence creating content on platforms like TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, and live within 30 minutes of Atlanta with reliable transportation and a flexible schedule.
As a College Marketing Representative, the individual will promote 3-6 artists per month and one-off promotions, implement digital and in-person marketing strategies, create awareness of The Orchard’s artists by liaising with influencers such as college radio stations and student organizations, maintain a local social media presence, implement in-person marketing initiatives at record stores and on campus, research appropriate online sites and forums for the target demographic, research and attend local and campus events to facilitate artist promotion, attend artists’ shows to distribute promotional tools and gather feedback, and submit detailed reports on marketing successes and initiatives.
