Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Possess a valid state-issued driver's license for at least 3 years
  • Valid Class B Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Must possess valid DOT-required medical card and be registered with DOT
  • 2 years of previous tractor-trailer driving experience and/or be a graduate of a State-certified and licensed truck driving school
  • Comfortable operating a Class B commercial vehicle

Responsibilities

  • Comply with all DOT and Misfits Market safety standards at all times, including wearing seatbelt, safely entering/exiting traffic, using hands-free cellular features, and obeying traffic laws
  • Act as a representative of the company, operating a company-provided tractor-trailer with professionalism and courtesy to other drivers
  • Operate a Class B commercial vehicle in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, prioritizing safety in driving, loading, and unloading
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately, including delivery logs, invoices, inspections, and hours of service logs; maintain organized and up-to-date documentation
  • Maintain open communication with dispatch, warehouse, and leadership; report any delays, issues, or changes in delivery schedules promptly
  • Operate computer/internal freight monitoring systems
  • Demonstrate flexibility with scheduling and adapt to changes in delivery routes or schedules; available for around-the-clock shifts to accommodate freight movements
  • Transport freight, including customer orders, from fulfillment centers to cross docks for last-mile delivery; navigate designated routes with commitment to safety and on-time performance
