Responsibilities

The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) will define, drive, and continuously evolve Xsolla’s enterprise-wide information security and compliance strategy, serving as the primary executive owner of cybersecurity risk management and incident response. They will advise the executive team on security risks, priorities, and investment decisions, aligning security initiatives with company objectives and regulatory requirements. The CISO will build, lead, and mentor a world-class security organization, oversee security for various environments including cloud infrastructure and applications, embed secure development practices, lead proactive threat modeling and vulnerability management, ensure a robust incident response framework, and manage compliance programs. They will also establish a company-wide risk management framework, evaluate and manage security tooling, translate risks into business terms, and deliver regular reports to executive leadership and stakeholders.
