Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in a data science/machine learning roles
  • Proficiency in python software engineering for a live data science service (pytest, pydantic, FastAPI, github workflows)
  • Excellent SQL skills
  • Experience being the lead developer on an applied data science project, including owning high-level KPIs and being responsible for their improvement
  • Experience working with operational research tooling and associated libraries
  • Experience on an applied geospatial data science project, ideally a supply-demand matching project
  • Familiarity with probabilistic programming (PyMC, NumPyro, PyStan)
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written

Responsibilities

  • Work as a full-stack data scientist, responsible for data ingestion, prototyping, writing production code, deployment and integration, testing and experimentation, and monitoring the performance of our tools
  • Be the owner of fleet positioning - the core data science project for our company, directly own related business KPIs, and together with product and operations drive improvements to this project
  • Together with our Head of Data, create a long-term roadmap that will take our existing solution and bring iterative improvements to it
