Requirements

Candidates must possess an active Health Insurance License or the ability to obtain one, be proficient in both English and Vietnamese with the ability to speak, read, and write fluently in both languages without limitations or assistance, and demonstrate strong verbal communication skills. Applicants should also be able to connect meaningfully with customers to build emotional engagement and customer advocacy, simplify complexity, and integrate internal efforts to deliver an optimal customer experience. Furthermore, candidates must be willing to adapt to learning new software/programs and follow call flow processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

The Senior Telesales Agent will conduct selling activities related to inbound calls inquiring about individual health plan products, qualify prospects, and attempt to close sales while successfully handling consumer calls that may require the use of an interpreter or TTY service. They may originate calls from leads, understand department, segment, and organizational strategy, and begin to influence department strategy, making decisions on moderately complex issues regarding technical approach. The role involves providing advice on HR-related risk mitigation strategies and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
