Job Description: Field Auditor - RES Service

Position Overview

The Field Auditor for the RES service is responsible for collecting information regarding product categories of interest through a sample of establishments. This data collection allows for the estimation of the universe with adequate precision, a process known as the Master Sample of Retail Establishments. Data is collected using a methodology of planned visits to AGEBs (Basic Geostatistical Areas) and city blocks.


Responsibilities

  • Data collection in retail and consumer establishments.
  • Familiarize oneself with the "Manual de Instrucciones para el Encuestador de la Muestra Maestra" (Instruction Manual for the Master Sample Surveyor).
  • Properly utilize plans and maps within CDAR Mobile to navigate and locate oneself in the field (including city blocks and rural locations).
  • Visit all selected city blocks within all selected urban AGEBs.
  • Complete the scheduled questionnaire in DCT for all establishments.
  • Update information on the universe of retail (RMS) and consumer (OP) establishments, including:
    • Number of establishments.
    • Sales volume by type of establishment.
    • Physical characteristics of establishments.
    • Classification of establishment type.

Requirements

  • Minimum Education: Completed Secondary School.
  • Desirable Experience: Sales, operational roles (e.g., warehouse worker, driver, cashier), and field work.
  • Desirable Skills:
    • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
    • Basic knowledge of the Android operating system.
    • Resilience.
    • Conflict management.
    • Autonomy.
    • Numerical ability (basic operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
    • Adherence to standards.
    • Results-oriented.
  • Availability: Willingness to travel.
