Requirements

Candidates should possess a High School diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of two years of general logistics experience with clinical trials, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. They should have excellent customer service and phone service skills, knowledge of Good Clinical Practices, accurate data entry skills, and high-level computer literacy. Superior analytical, interpersonal, and time management skills are also required, along with excellent verbal communication skills in English and an advantage if additional languages are known. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are necessary for quality decision-making, and proven negotiation and problem-resolution skills are beneficial.

Responsibilities

The Associate Logistics Coordinator will ensure efficient and effective operations of the section, providing high levels of support, service, reliability, and availability to internal departments. They will be responsible for ensuring the accurate data entry of information, maintaining the Proforma mailbox by sending proforma invoices and making necessary changes, and managing courier contact sheets and starter packs. The role involves daily interaction with clients and IORs to ensure correct delivery of supply orders to clinical sites, escalating issues to Project Managers when necessary, and potentially assisting with courier issues and sample pickups. Additionally, the position will support the Associate Logistics Coordinators, coordinate review and action on custom reports, and assist in the investigation and resolution of Quality Events, all while supporting Thermo Fisher Scientific’s mission to enable customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
