JD (Juris Doctor) degree
Current license to practice law
Minimum of 9 years of specific industry and/or technical legal experience post licensure (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Ability to work in-office 3 days per week (candidates not within reasonable commuting distance from posting locations will not be considered unless accommodation granted)

Responsibilities

Provide strategic legal advice and actionable recommendations that align with business objectives and mitigate risk
Lead and manage Medicaid litigation, including coordination with outside counsel, internal stakeholders, and budgets to achieve favorable outcomes
Advise business clients on related legal and regulatory matters, with a key focus on Medicaid litigation
Apply knowledge of legal specialties with business acumen to determine methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinate legal projects
Contribute to overall results of an SBU or CEE unit and/or department using professional legal concepts
Provide instructions to junior members of the department and concise, timely briefings to senior level business and legal management
Work on complex problems requiring in-depth evaluation of various factors
Serve as a resource for other attorneys, paralegals, and business clients on technical and tactical issues
Assess and mitigate risk, reporting identified business exposures, associated risks, and mitigation techniques to management
