Responsibilities

  • Define, staff, and lead a statistical science function providing administrative direction, leadership, process expertise, and influence
  • Ensure on-time and high-quality portfolio deliverables, including staffing, budget, and resource management
  • Manage asset protection, coaching, mentoring, staff development, and performance management
  • Oversee project planning/management, knowledge sharing, regulatory compliance, strategy implementation, and process improvements
  • Develop statistical capabilities at Lilly Bengaluru, supporting/leading next-generation drug development and advanced analytics
  • Recruit and develop top talent, integrate the Bengaluru team, and increase team effectiveness/efficiency
  • Develop comprehensive understanding of Lilly’s therapeutic areas; establish and lead cross-functional teams as a scientific thought leader
  • Deliver business unit portfolio with quality and on-time metrics; participate in strategy development and monitor delivery metrics
  • Assess resource demand, prioritize work, resolve scope issues, coordinate allocation/tracking for internal/outsourced projects
  • Communicate/resolve statistics-related issues with customer teams; partner with global leaders on clinical data execution
  • Partner with development/administrative functions to plan, forecast, and manage resources for sanctioned projects
  • Develop deep therapeutic area expertise
