The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) is partnering with the Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD) to create an Assistant Curator position focused on African diasporic art and culture. This is a temporary position, working in collaboration with MoAD, and will be an SFMOMA employee. The selected candidate will assist in the selection, research, and exhibition development related to African diasporic art.

This position will be part of a collaborative project with the Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD). MoAD is a contemporary art museum dedicated to celebrating Black cultures, igniting challenging conversations, and inspiring learning through the global lens of the African Diaspora. MoAD is uniquely positioned as one of the few museums in the world focused exclusively on African Diaspora culture.
