- Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
- 18+ years of age
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if not had in the last year)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Ability to move in various positions (standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Responsibilities
- Work one-on-one with children with autism
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills
- Reduce interfering behaviors
