Strong communicator and effective collaborator
Significant coursework in computer science (major not required)
Knows Ruby on Rails (or similar web framework like Python or Elixir) or can learn it fast
Insatiable curiosity, loves learning new languages/technologies
Values rich web designs, enjoys working with designers
Wants to be a professional web developer after graduation
Enjoys working with product designers, front-end developers, project managers

Responsibilities

Develop web applications using Ruby and Rails (or similar in Python/Elixir)
Build and launch several applications, from simple blog to custom creation
Embrace test-driven development (write tests before code)
Join developer meetings, hack nights, and pair programming
Attend client meetings to experience presentations, consultations, and defining development expectations
Contribute to client work and internal Viget initiatives
Meet regularly with Advisor to discuss progress on personalized learning goals
Work 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday (usually 9-5, flexible), for 10 weeks (June 1-August 7) in Boulder, CO office
