Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field with at least 2 years of experience or equivalent work experience providing exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle), spreadsheet programs (e.g., Microsoft Excel), and strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide accurate financial reports
Strong understanding of accuracy in financial documents and compliance with laws and regulations
Clear and effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and explaining financial information to non-financial individuals
Strong sense of ethics and integrity
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills

Responsibilities

Prepare and analyze financial statements
Monitor and reconcile accounts
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Record and maintain financial transactions
Manage accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile bank statements
Assist with payroll processing
Conduct internal audits on accounting
Ensure compliance with financial regulations
Identify and report any discrepancies or errors
