Requirements

Candidates are required to have an AIME qualification and a Bachelor’s degree or above in any major, with Education or STEM-related majors preferred; they should also be eligible to obtain a Bachelor's degree if currently pursuing or in progress, and possess prior math teaching experience as a plus, along with math competition learning or teaching experience as a plus; they must be able to commit to at least two semesters of teaching starting from the 2025 Summer Semester and be available to work during weekday evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

The Remote Math Competition Coach will teach AMC8 level math problems virtually through the Think Academy Teaching Platform, actively engaging and managing an online classroom of up to 18 students, preparing and delivering lessons using Think Academy’s curriculum and teaching guidance, grading homework, providing timely and personalized feedback to students and parents, and communicating effectively with them regarding their progress.
