Requirements

Candidates should possess a PhD or equivalent research experience in a relevant field such as machine learning, reinforcement learning, optimization, or causal inference, with a strong background in algorithms and statistical modeling. Prior experience in applying AI to industrial applications is preferred, and the role requires expertise in machine learning, reinforcement learning, optimization, and causal inference. Applicants must be located within the UK (preferred), USA, or Canada.

Responsibilities

The AI Research Scientist will collaborate with other researchers to demonstrate algorithmic feasibility and enhance algorithmic capabilities, design and implement prediction and decision algorithms for controlling complex systems, develop and maintain a benchmarking platform for algorithmic performance evaluation, report and present research findings both internally and externally, and participate in ambitious collaborative research projects.
