Requirements

  • Master's in Engineering, ideally in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • At least 10 additional years of experience in an engineering capacity
  • Ability to effectively communicate and have a growth mindset
  • Proven track record of collaboration in multi-functional teams

  • Deep knowledge of turbomachinery and their application in field

Responsibilities

  • Designing, integrating, verifying, validating and managing complex systems throughout their lifecycles
  • Applying systems engineering methodologies such as requirements definition, system architecture and integration, analysis, configuration management and risk management during the design phase of products
  • Thinking principles to manage design activities and utilise knowledge of system performance to influence better outcomes
  • Integrating technical, managerial and business perspectives to reduce risk in project execution and engineering design
  • Developing integrated solutions using products and service components to address customer needs (components may be specialised for specific applications; company designs AMO and product lifecycle solutions to support deployment)
  • Working with cross-functional and cross-disciplinary teams through both individual and team assignments, applying technical and business knowledge to ensure successful outcomes
