Requirements

Candidates should have at least 3 years of mobile development experience with a proven track record of building high-quality mobile applications and at least 1 year of hands-on experience developing with Flutter, including deep familiarity with Flutter frameworks, third-party libraries, and APIs. Strong knowledge of mobile native technologies, architectural design patterns like MVC and MVVM, and frameworks is required, along with experience applying TDD methodology and robust unit testing practices. Proficiency with development tools such as Android SDK and GIT version control systems is essential. Experience with native Android is also required, and experience with Native Android and iOS, a BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related experience, experience with MVVM architecture, and CI/CD are preferred.

Responsibilities

The Software Engineer will design and develop innovative content experience features for the Headspace mobile application, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create technical specifications and assess feature feasibility. They will write and maintain high-quality, performant, and efficient code, conduct thorough unit testing, and stay ahead of industry trends by evaluating and integrating emerging technologies. The engineer will leverage expertise in mobile architectures and design patterns to shape the platform's future, champion proper documentation, quality management, and adherence to company methods, and migrate/integrate existing native features and functionality to Flutter.
