Requirements
Candidates should possess at least two years of software engineering experience, a love for writing code, and full ownership of a product or feature from concept to launch. They should be experienced with Ruby on Rails, RSpec, and Sidekiq, along with familiarity with Javascript, HAML, Redis, Postgres, AWS, and Docker. Strong architectural design skills, the ability to build scalable applications, and knowledge of operating Postgres at scale are preferred.
Responsibilities
The Software Engineer will dynamically work with the engineering team to build, test, and refine Red Canary’s product suite, write great code to tackle technical problems, collaborate with product management and design teams, build a product customers love, and ensure the quality of code through testing. They will also work on bugs, new features, and enhancements, make architectural design decisions to improve scalability and performance, and have confidence in their work. Furthermore, they will participate in an on-call rotation and contribute to security improvements for a large number of organizations.
