Senior Marketing Operations Manager

Position Overview

Calendly is seeking a Senior Marketing Operations Manager to join its Operations team. This role is crucial for driving process excellence, operational scale, and revenue impact within the go-to-market strategy. The successful candidate will bring strategic systems thinking, lifecycle marketing partnership, and marketing technology expertise to own the Braze and Pendo ecosystems, partner with Lifecycle Marketing, and enhance cross-platform marketing performance. This position reports to the Senior Manager of GTM Systems & Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary owner and administrator of Braze, managing strategic architecture and day-to-day campaign execution.
  • Lead cross-functional projects supporting lifecycle marketing initiatives, including experimentation frameworks and performance tracking.
  • Build and govern in-app messaging experiences via Pendo, collaborating closely with Product and Lifecycle teams.
  • Manage vendor relationships and external consultants to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of builds across systems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality and drive new data integrations between Braze, Marketo, Salesforce, and the broader GTM tech stack.
  • Implement best practices, governance models, and documentation to scale marketing automation efficiently.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define segmentation strategies, personalization logic, and channel mix across the customer journey.

Requirements

  • 6–9+ years of hands-on experience in Marketing Operations.
  • Deep experience with Braze and lifecycle automation.
  • Proven ownership of marketing automation platforms, including admin-level configuration, governance, and optimization (Braze required; Pendo a plus).
  • Strategic experience partnering with Lifecycle or Growth Marketing teams to drive audience targeting, personalization, and campaign success.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture and integrations across customer data platforms and marketing systems.
  • Experience managing external consultants and internal cross-functional project timelines.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to translate marketing goals into scalable tech workflows.
  • Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America. Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship.
