Requirements
Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience in Java programming, preferably within an Investment Bank, Hedge Fund, or Exchange, developing trading applications in Equity, FX, or Derivative products in traditional or crypto markets. They should be adaptable to TDD methodology, proficient in automated testing, and demonstrate a strong desire to improve processes with attention to detail and responsibility. Furthermore, candidates should be open to challenges, eager to learn, and capable of working under pressure while adapting to changing priorities within a fast-paced industry, with derivative product experience being a plus.
Responsibilities
The Senior Java Developer will be responsible for the full-stack design, development, and implementation of products and solutions for the derivatives exchange platform, utilizing micro-service based components. They will collaborate closely with product management to optimize existing or develop new models/products/algorithms, participate in code audits, testing, and releases, build a rapidly deployable system with automated testing and continuous integration/delivery, identify and solve problems in back-end infrastructure, analyze and resolve cross-stack issues, work closely with the security team to build and operate high-security and scalable infrastructure, manage code and function implementation documents, and collaborate with the DevOps team to continuously upgrade and improve the technology stack.
