Requirements
Candidates should have 5+ years of infrastructure security experience in a professional environment, a strong foundation in infrastructure security including network, host, and cloud technologies (specifically AWS), proficiency writing Python scripts and IaC with Terraform, and basic knowledge of Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer, you will be responsible for securing NerdWallet systems by proactively monitoring cloud environments for security events and anomalies, defining and monitoring the cloud security posture, responding to security incidents, defining what good looks like, mentoring junior engineers, and taking informed risks to move the business forward. You will also lead strategic initiatives to remediate and mitigate infrastructure security risk across the organization, drive development and implementation of automation scripts and workflows, and advise technical teams on secure design patterns for cloud and corporate infrastructure.
