Position Overview

This role involves supporting day-to-day project execution within Nielsen's research processes and workflows. The ideal candidate will ensure assigned responsibilities are met with quality and timeliness, while maintaining strong client focus and understanding of research techniques.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure assigned responsibilities are conducted to time and quality expectations.
  • Ensure thorough understanding of and compliance to Nielsen’s research processes and workflow.
  • Support manager on day-to-day project execution, including designing/inputting questionnaires into ezq and link testing.
  • Ensure timely and proactive communication with partner divisions (data processing, data collection, Vendors & Other teams) to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Ensure that materials to Ops & other support teams are sent on schedule and thoroughly checked for errors.
  • Provide proactive communications during the project lifecycle to managers/clients, such as status report updates and highlighting database issues.
  • Attend client presentations with the manager to provide support as required.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Experience in Market Research with quantitative research projects is a must.
  • Strong client focus and understanding of research techniques to enable meaningful conversations with all client stakeholders and ensure accurate representation of the data in reporting and insights.
  • Understanding of analysis tools and data interpretation, with excellent numerical skills.
  • Skill-set:
    • Analytical and report writing skills.
    • Presentation skills.
    • Ability to draft questionnaires based on client brief and proposal.
    • Ability to write analysis plans & develop charting templates.
    • Effectively brief charting & tabulation teams on project requirements.
    • Ability to check data tables and charts to spot errors.
    • Ability to draft reports & commentaries.
    • Displays maturity and creative problem-solving skills in handling crises.
    • Able to handle multiple stakeholders internally and externally simultaneously.
    • Eagerness to learn, an open mindset & team spirit.
  • Knowledge and exposure to tobacco projects is an added advantage.
