Position Overview

Deputy is a global SaaS remote-first workforce management company with a mission to improve the world of work for frontline, hourly employees. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented People Operations Automations Contractor to join our People Team. This role is crucial in supporting the HR function by developing HR dashboards for our Business Partners and driving the automation of the metrics dashboard. The ideal candidate will have a passion for HR and People Experience, a strong grasp of our HR Tech stack, and expertise in People Analytics.

The Team

The People Team is responsible for maximizing employee value through talent acquisition, employee onboarding, management, and experience. They drive employee engagement and foster a strong company culture at Deputy, empowering employees to do their best work in support of shift workplaces.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop automated people analytics dashboards for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs).
  • Collaborate with the HR team to identify key metrics and reporting requirements.
  • Automate data extraction and reporting from HR systems, including Rippling.
  • Leverage existing company-wide dashboard templates and refine them for specific QBR needs.
  • Provide data insights to support HR Business Partners in their presentations to Senior Leadership teams.
  • Explore and integrate AI capabilities from HR tools for enhanced analytics.

Skills & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience (3+ years) in building and automating data dashboards, specifically within HR or People Analytics.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong proficiency in data extraction from various HR systems.
    • Expertise in data visualization tools and advanced spreadsheet functions.
    • Experience with HRIS platforms, particularly Rippling, Lattice & Lever.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and storytelling skills.
    • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
