Responsibilities

The Mobile Software Engineer will lead the development of cross-platform mobile features using React Native, shipping polished apps to both iOS and Android, and design and implement high-quality, responsive UIs that enhance user experience. They will leverage native APIs and platform-specific modules to build deep, performant integrations with both mobile platforms, apply engineering best practices—including modular architecture, testing, and CI/CD—to ensure a maintainable, scalable codebase, and participate in agile ceremonies. Furthermore, they will facilitate technical conversations, unblock teammates, and help define standards and guidelines for quality across the team, provide thoughtful feedback in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and contribute through pair programming and team-wide collaboration, monitor and optimize performance using tools like Sentry, Amplitude, or OpenSearch, and troubleshoot user issues in partnership with QA and support, and make pragmatic decisions about balancing product velocity with quality.
