Requirements

Candidates must possess a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, a High School Diploma or GED plus six (6) years of general system engineering experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of systems engineering experience, or a Master’s degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university, or a PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university. The candidate should also be able to become a certified Data Transfer Agent (DTA).

Responsibilities

The System Engineer will apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases, including Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement, and will interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflicts. They will communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives, and will be responsible for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with ISO/IEC15288 process areas. The role involves managing SW Configuration Management of third-party OEM and USG HPC software stacks and firmware using GitLab, executing review boards, managing change requests and defects, creating and maintaining configuration baselines, and implementing version control processes and procedures within CI/CD pipelines and software integration frameworks.
