Requirements

  • Experience: 6+ years of hands-on security engineering experience.
  • Management Experience: 2+ years of hands-on security/engineering management experience.
  • Security Certifications: Relevant industry accreditations (e.g., CISSP).
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate security engineering concepts to stakeholders.
  • Work Ethic: A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and do whatever is necessary to ensure company success.
  • Startup Experience: Experience working in a rapidly evolving startup environment.
  • US Work Authorization: Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America (Garner does not sponsor immigration).

Responsibilities

  • Tactical delivery, execution, and operations of the security program and its controls.
  • Maintaining required compliance accreditations.
  • Retaining and developing the engineers on the security team.
  • Establishing quality processes that aid and ease the adoption of security controls.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Target Salary Range: $220,000.00 - $250,000.00
