Lead UX Designer

Position Overview

This role requires a Lead UX Designer to design and optimize user experiences across all platforms for acquisition, care, or product. The position involves utilizing various graphics software applications, techniques, and tools to ensure intuitive and seamless interactions.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Prototyping

  • Create wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize design solutions.
  • Design and develop user interface features, site animations, and special effects elements.
  • Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and aesthetic principles.

User Research and Information Architecture

  • Conduct thorough user research to understand user needs and behaviors.
  • Develop and organize the structure and flow of information within the product.
  • Determine optimal layout, media, and technology based on client requirements.

Collaboration and Strategy

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI designers, developers, and product managers, to ensure cohesive and effective design solutions.
  • Contribute to the design group’s efforts to enhance digital offerings.
  • Independently manage multiple projects.

Usability, Accessibility, and Documentation

  • Ensure designs comply with usability and accessibility standards.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive design documentation.
  • Maintain security and documentation standards, including quality and accuracy.

Continuous Improvement and Trend Awareness

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design processes and outcomes.
  • Analyze performance to drive future design improvements.

An experienced professional, recognized as an expert, creatively resolving complex issues with broad and in-depth knowledge. Leads significant projects with strategic autonomy, influencing executive decisions. Mentors less experienced staff, implements long-term plans impacting the organization, and frequently collaborates with senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years of related experience.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
  • Certification: Certification is required in some areas.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary Range: $128,400.00 - $215,800.00 (Individual starting salary may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training).
