Requirements
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience writing code, significant comfort with Python at an intermediate level or higher, including proficiency in data types, operations, and file I/O, and experience with Git or other version control systems. Django web framework experience and familiarity with Heroku, AWS, Jira, and GitHub are preferred qualifications, along with experience working with data scientists and machine learning applications. Successful completion of in-person testing for Python and/or Django proficiency is also required.
Responsibilities
The Full Stack Python Developer will collaborate with team members to design and develop new features and applications for utility energy efficiency programs, write secure and efficient Python code within the Django framework, work with git, GitHub, AWS, Heroku, and other components of the ecosystem, ensure data security and privacy protocols are followed, make recommendations for process and technology improvements, document code and features, and perform other assigned tasks.
