Requirements

Candidates must have production experience with Swift and Objective-C, a solid understanding of UIKit, Core Data, Fastlane, and REST APIs, and mastery of the iOS SDK, object-oriented programming, and refactoring techniques. Familiarity with SwiftUI, Combine, GraphQL, or CI/CD tools is considered a plus, as is knowledge of payment systems, financial services, or high-traffic applications.

Responsibilities

The Senior iOS Developer will take ownership and modernize a significant portion of the existing iOS codebase, refactor and evolve key systems using Swift, Objective-C, UIKit, and Core Data, reduce technical debt, and introduce scalable architectural patterns. They will lead technical efforts to reduce dependency on Objective-C, collaborate interfunctionally with engineers, product managers, and designers to develop user-focused features, participate in code reviews, and promote engineering best practices. The role also involves working on-site in Montreal to access specialized equipment such as payment terminals and scanners, and contributing to the modernization of legacy codebases.
