Candidates should have 5-7 years of experience in engineering and operating highly available public-facing infrastructure. A detailed understanding of Public Cloud Infrastructure and experience in codifying, automating, segmenting, and scaling services is required. Experience in evaluating technological risks and implementing security detections and protections is essential, along with a working understanding of cryptocurrency infrastructure and proof-of-stake. Proficiency in programming languages such as Golang, Typescript, and Rust, as well as tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Containers is necessary. Familiarity with cloud providers like GCP and AWS, and networks such as Bittensor, Arbitrum, and Cosmos/CometBFT-based chains is also expected.
The Cryptocurrency Infrastructure Engineer will lead network launches from concept to production, becoming an expert on bleeding-edge networks while improving and building secure templates, patterns, tools, and processes for new cryptocurrency network launches. They will design and implement security improvements, tools, and automation for safe participation in cryptocurrency networks. The role involves developing innovative technical solutions as challenges emerge, collaborating closely with other engineers to ensure there are no single points of failure, and identifying new opportunities as cryptocurrency continues to accelerate.
