Candidates should possess 3-5 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, bizops, strategy, or GTM roles, demonstrating the ability to build analytical models and translate them into executive-level insights. Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to build frameworks and plans to provide necessary structure are also required.
The Commercial Strategy Manager will identify and prioritize initiatives that support the company’s biggest bets and create the greatest impact, partnering with teams across Thumbtack to identify opportunities and develop winning strategies. They will also support critical projects E2E, enable process improvements, develop and test new ideas, and support ad hoc analysis and project work. Furthermore, they will own, execute, and improve strategic programs that drive revenue and profitable growth, perform financial analyses, and serve as the connective tissue across teams and functions, aligning stakeholders and driving progress.
