Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and approximately 3-5 years of direct experience in a multi-currency cash application team, along with experience working closely with a credit & collections team. A solid understanding of generally accepted accounting standards and knowledge of general accounting procedures and general ledger accounts are required.

Responsibilities

The Cash Application Analyst will perform day-to-day cash application activities including cash posting, offset, write-offs per policy, customer refunds, month-end activities, and reducing unapplied/unidentified cash, while also handling questions from internal and external customers. They will post manual checks, wire transfers, and ACH deposits, run lockbox reports, process credit card transactions, research invoices for proper cash application, process customer refund requests, reconcile general ledger accounts, perform daily offsets and write-offs, frequently interact with the Treasury team and various banks, and collaborate with the North America Credit & Collections team to account for unapplied cash. Additionally, the role involves performing customer account reconciliation, reclassifying non-A/R receipts, and fulfilling month-end/quarter-end responsibilities within agreed timelines.
