Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in robotics software development. Strong proficiency in Python and Linux environments is required, along with familiarity with robotics tools such as Drake, OMPL, and KLAMPT. Experience with robot arms, end effectors, and mechanical design is also desired.

Candidates should possess strong programming skills in Python, experience with software engineering tooling such as Git and Unix shell, and a collaborative nature with an interest in robotics, AI, solving hard problems, or improving the future of humanity. Experience building web applications with React, background or interest in ML or robotics, and experience leading teams and projects are considered nice to have.

Candidates should be able to travel more than 75% of the time, possess strong organizational skills, demonstrate effective communication abilities, and be capable of lifting up to 80 pounds. Technician experience, a driver's license, and prior robotics or travelling technician experience are considered beneficial.
