Cloud - Azure Infra Engineer

Candidates must have admin skills for most of the Azure services and managed via the Azure console, some understanding of AWS/Google cloud services, Entra ID, RBAC, Defender for Cloud, Azure PAM, Networking (VPC, load-balancers, other cloud network components), Data storage (ADX, Sentinel), Logic Apps, cloud first architectures, design and presentation, experience in Azure technology, especially data lakes, data warehouses, integrations, scripts, automations, Databricks, ETL/data factories, and any SQL implementations, proven knowledge of virtual application delivery technologies, experience as a build and deployment engineer using industry-standard tools, experience with deployment tools and virtual lab management, understanding of industry-standard system architecture and system management tools, and extensive experience in analytics methodologies in either machine learning or artificial intelligence. Azure certifications will make candidates stand out, and knowledge of Linux or Windows systems administration is required. Experience with automation/configuration management using Ansible, Terraform, Chef or similar is also needed.
The Sr. Azure Engineer will serve as a trusted advisor for clients regarding their Azure environment, ensuring security and operational best practices are met, administer and optimize Azure Active Directory, manage privileged identities and implement Just-in-Time (JIT) and Just-Enough-Access (JEA) strategies, support hardening initiatives across Azure services, perform general administration of Azure resources, collaborate with internal security teams and client stakeholders to drive proactive risk reduction and platform maturity, troubleshoot platform-level issues and support incident response activities, work directly with business partners and other IT team members to understand desired system requirements and to deliver effective solutions, participate and conduct code reviews with scrum teams to approve for Production deployment, and be able to work in a fast paced, demanding, and rapidly changing environment.
