Description: Join our Digital Technology Sourcing Team! As a Senior Commodity Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies for software, achieving cost savings targets, leading negotiations, collaborating with internal stakeholders, mitigating supplier risks, and serving as a business partner. You will also lead the software sourcing team and provide thought leadership.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience leading technology sourcing activities for global Software (On-Prem, SaaS, Cloud) and Services.
• Skills:
  • Strategic category planning
  • Skilled negotiation
  • Contract negotiation and redlining (software contracts)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency
  • Understanding of global cybersecurity and data privacy regulations related to software procurement.

Responsibilities

• Develop annual and long-term sourcing strategies and pipeline plans for the software category.
• Achieve cost savings targets.
• Lead RF(x) and commercial contract negotiations with software suppliers.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams (legal, finance, cybersecurity, etc.).
• Mitigate supplier risks through effective contracting and supplier management.
• Communicate with business leaders and stakeholders regarding project status, process compliance, and business procedures.
• Serve as a business partner to key IT stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Track metrics (KPIs) to ensure business outcomes and compliance.
• Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners.
• Provide thought leadership as the team leader of the software sourcing team.
• Lead multiple sourcing projects and sourcing-related activities in a fast-paced, multi-national environment.
