Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent qualification, with a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) being preferred. They should have at least 8+ years of overall experience, specifically 8+ years in Java Web Services, REST Web Services, JSON, SQL, and Stored Procedures. Strong experience with Cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, microservices, and Springboot is required. Familiarity with technologies like Kafka and SSDLC/CI/CD pipelines is also desired.

Responsibilities

The Lead Java Backend Developer will be responsible for major and minor enhancements to applications, evaluating and recommending techniques, practices, or technologies to improve business needs and ensure continuous process improvements. This role involves collaborating with various teams to maintain a stable application environment and understanding application topography. The individual will design and implement web service architecture patterns, microservice patterns, and data modeling skills for web service payloads, as well as experience with logging and workflow processing in web services. They will also be involved in designing and building non-functional service standards and guidelines, including security, performance tuning, and configuration management, utilizing cloud services for BI and data-driven solutions.
