Requirements

Candidates should possess the ability to work in a manufacturing environment both indoors and outdoors, previous experience working with electronic communication devices such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, voltmeters, multimeters, and high and low voltage detectors, and experience reading product manuals and troubleshooting equipment. The ability to calibrate a wide array of sensors and detectors is also required.

Responsibilities

The I & E Technician will calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair plant instrumentation, transmitters, analyzers, control valves, switches, and relays, diagnose and correct problems associated with PLC’s and electrical systems & controls, plan details of jobs that are assigned, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain process control systems such as Control Logix PLC’s, analog and discrete IO devices, and Ethernet IP communications, and troubleshoot Allan Bradley lines of PowerFlex VFDs and Allan Bradley Soft Starts.
