Position Overview

Uplift is seeking a dynamic and experienced "Head of Existing Business" for their client, a rapidly scaling organization. This role is pivotal in driving the company's growth by focusing on revenue generation from existing SME clients and strengthening client relationships. The successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer and will be instrumental in scaling Account Management and Upgrade teams, as well as creating new Product-focused sales teams. This position requires a hands-on leader committed to high performance and making a significant impact.

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • 5-8 years in Sales, preferably within the fintech industry, with a focus on SME / high-volume customer segments.
    • 5+ years of management experience (Manager/Head of) in roles such as Account Management or Existing Business.
    • Proven track record as a top-performing people manager in Sales, with exceptional results and a passion for building high-performing teams.
  • Skills & Attributes:
    • Thrives in a scaling business environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
    • Expertise in driving revenue from existing business clients and creating value-adding strategies across multiple teams.
    • Passionate about delivering results, hands-on, driving change, and making an impact.
    • Strong data-driven approach to performance, including target creation and incentive programs.
    • Proficient with Salesforce and other common software tools (e.g., Outreach).
    • Excellent communication skills, both with direct reports and senior leadership.
    • Willingness to become a product expert and drive product development based on customer feedback.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) growth within the existing SME segment and reduce churn.
  • Foster a high-performing culture within teams, focusing on performance management and continuous improvement.
  • Lead and scale multiple teams of sales executives (from 20+ to over 40 within the first 12 months), including ownership of hiring.
  • Set team targets and design incentive programs to reward top performance in existing business.
  • Launch new Product-led sales teams in collaboration with the Chief Revenue Officer and Chief Product Officer.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing function to drive customer engagement via CRM and Webinars, targeting the SME segment.
  • Drive market penetration in core markets: Germany (DE), France (FR), Italy (IT), Netherlands (NL), and Spain (ES).
  • Serve as a key member of the Sales Leadership Team, driving standards across the entire function and supporting the Chief Revenue Officer.
