Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Head of Affiliates to join our performance marketing team for a 12-month maternity cover contract. This senior leadership role will be responsible for overseeing our affiliate and agency channel, with a particular focus on third-party lead generation (3PL) across the UK, Canada, Australia, and emerging international markets.

The successful candidate will lead a team of Affiliate Managers and collaborate with Compliance, Operations, Data, and Media Buying teams to achieve performance at scale through a growing portfolio of affiliate partnerships. This role requires a blend of partner management expertise, team leadership, performance optimization skills, and cross-functional coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Channel Management

  • Execute the 3PL strategy across all markets, ensuring partner performance, lead volume, and quality meet commercial targets.
  • Provide clear prioritization and direction to the Affiliate team, aligning daily activities with long-term objectives.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Affiliate Managers, supporting their professional development and ensuring high standards of execution.

Partner Management

  • Maintain strategic relationships with key affiliate partners, including negotiation, performance reviews, planning, and issue resolution.
  • Oversee the onboarding and launch of new partners in collaboration with legal, compliance, and tracking teams.
  • Identify opportunities to scale high-performing partnerships and improve overall ROI.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Compliance team to ensure alignment with regional regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Data and Product teams to implement and refine tracking, attribution, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Implement and maintain affiliate tracking systems to ensure accurate measurement and reporting.
  • Maintain the quality of performance reports within Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.

Performance Monitoring & Optimization

  • Monitor partner performance using dashboards and tools such as Leadbyte, Contact State, and Power BI.
  • Identify trends in underperformance early and lead the strategy for resolution.
  • Oversee testing and creative experimentation initiatives to drive incremental performance gains.

Leadbyte Campaign Management

  • Manage daily operations within Leadbyte, including lead routing, cap management, validation rules, and delivery logic.
  • Monitor lead quality, pacing, and source-level performance across multiple geographies and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with affiliate partners and internal stakeholders to troubleshoot delivery issues and optimize lead flow.

Key Requirements

  • Significant experience in affiliate/performance marketing.
  • At least 2+ years of experience in a team leadership role within this field.
