Position Overview

As a key member of the GFS Team, reporting to the Revenue Recognition Team Lead, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial integrity of the organization. Your responsibilities will include managing and overseeing general ledger accounts, ensuring strict adherence to IFRS and company policies. You will actively participate in critical financial processes supporting month-end and year-end activities, collaborating closely with various company partners. This role offers opportunities to enhance your skills, support team members, and contribute to special projects, all while making a significant contribution to our financial success.


Main Responsibilities

  • Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities, including the preparation of journal entries and supporting documentation for transactions.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations for accounts of medium to high complexity, including researching variances and preparing necessary adjustments.
  • Review reconciliations for accounts of low and medium priority to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare audit schedules and documentation as requested by the Corporate Team.
  • Communicate effectively with company partners, including the Corporate team and various internal departments, to address inquiries and support needs.
  • Assist junior team members and contribute to special projects.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field. Additional education or certifications in the area are considered ideal.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in account reconciliation. Experience with Six Sigma projects is considered ideal.
  • Language: Advanced English level.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
    • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Excel, MS Word) and Power BI.
