HazMat Retail Driver - CDL (A)

Candidates must be 21 years of age or older, possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), have a clean driving record, and be able to read, write, and communicate in English. They must also be able to lift, push, or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and up to 100 pounds repeatedly, and demonstrate flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. Previous experience as a customer delivery driver, hand cart/hand truck operator, or in the food and beverage industry is preferred, along with a consistent work history of at least two years.
The CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver will safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer to deliver various products, including meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, and supplies, to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. They will build relationships with customers, familiarize themselves with their operations, and meet their needs and expectations. Additionally, the driver will manually unload products, conduct audits, and advise management on HR-related risk mitigation strategies, while adhering to all safety programs and utilizing available benefits such as tuition reimbursement and employee discounts.
