all_details = fetch_all_job_details("joinroot", jobs)
print(f"Fetched details for {len([d for d in all_details if d])} jobs")The board ID must be extracted from the company's Rippling careers URL (e.g., 'joinroot' from ats.rippling.com/joinroot/jobs). There is no public directory of board IDs.
The listings API only returns job metadata. You must call the details endpoint (/jobs/{jobId}) for each job to get the full description HTML.
Add small delays (100-200ms) between requests when fetching many job details. While no official rate limit is documented, burst traffic may be throttled.
Location data differs between listings (rich object with workplaceType) and details (simplified string array). Use the listings data for workplace type information.
Rippling does not provide a boards listing API. You must discover board IDs through external sources like Common Crawl, manual entry, or known company URLs.
- 1Use pageSize=50 to reduce pagination overhead for large boards
- 2Always fetch job details for full descriptions; listings lack description data
- 3Extract workplaceType from listings locations array for remote/hybrid filtering
- 4Combine company and role description HTML for complete job content
- 5Cache results to minimize API calls; job boards typically update daily
- 6Handle missing fields gracefully; not all jobs have all data populated
